The otters arrived on Thursday.
They had no membership. They had no reservation.
They had, however, absolutely no intention of leaving.

Singapore's most prestigious yacht club plays host to a family of extremely confident smooth-coated otters who have opinions about berthing arrangements, lunch service, and who really owns the floating dock.

Singapore's smooth-coated otters are fully protected under the Wildlife Act.
There are around 10 otter families in Singapore, totalling over 90 individuals.
The RSYC's resident otter family has been documented stealing fish from members' boats since at least 2019.
